Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago
In the world take always the position of the giver....Give love, give help, give service, give any little thing you can ... Let us give out of our own bounty, just as God gives to us.
Swami Vivekananda

The Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago is a non-profit, religious organization run by monks for the spiritual upliftment of the masses irrespective of religion, color, language, etc.

It depends completely on your generous donation for the regular day to day work, maintenance, and development of the infrastructure of the organization.

We are tax-exempt under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all donations made to Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago — both the main center at Homer Glen and the retreat center at Ganges ― are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

Donations can be made by cash, check (payable to Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago) or online with a credit card.

You are welcome to donate to the general fund, or, if you wish, you may donate to a specific program.

Both the Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago at Homer Glen & the Vivekananda Retreat and Monastery at Ganges, MI offer volunteering opportunities.
